RECOMMENDATION
Authorize execution of Amendment No. 2 to RFP No. 2886-11 Disaster Debris Removal, Reduction Disposal and other Emergency Services between Nueces County and Crowder Gulf Joint Venture, LLP.
BACKGROUND
Nueces County went out for bid for disaster debris removal, reduction, disposal, and other emergency cleanup services following a disaster event. A contract was executed on October 12, 2011.

The initial term of the contract was for one (1) year beginning upon execution of a contract, with an option to renew for four (4) additional one (1) year terms at the discretion of the County. This amendment will be the first renewal.

Payment for service(s) will be rendered to Contractor after completion and acceptance of the work specified in each work order for storm debris removal services associated with the disaster recovery process, and after receipt of a proper invoice submitted showing an amount based upon the unit pricing detailed in the agreement. Payment will be made only for work performed.
DISCUSSION
County will pay up front and if applicable, FEMA will reimburse acceptable expenses.
