Accept the award and executed agreement with Liberty Resources Family Service for RFP No. 3098-19 Multisystemic Therapy Family Preservation Program Services as approved by the Juvenile Board for the Juvenile Department.
The purchase of one MST team and for After Care/Transition services for non-residential contract services for youth involved, or at risk of becoming involved, in the juvenile justice system. MST is the treatment program/model for diversion from placement. After Care/Transition services are targeted for those youth currently placed in residential facilities with an emphasis toward early release and successful reintegration into the community and family system.
The term for this contract is for a three (3) year period, with the option to extend for an additional two (2) years, options to extend for one (1) year each. The renewal(s), if mutually acceptable to the Offeror and Juvenile Board, will not to exceed two (2) additional years past the initial term. All rates proposed shall be guaranteed for the contract term.
Offeror will notify the Juvenile Department ninety (90) days prior to expiration of then current term, of Offeror’s interest in exercising the option to renew. Juvenile Board at its discretion may renew term, which shall be upon mutual and written agreement of both parties. Either party may terminate this contract with a sixty (60) days written notice prior to the end of the then current term or any renewal term.
Non-residential services are funded from the Juvenile Department’s general budget, and grants provided by the Texas Juvenile Probation Commission.
