RECOMMENDATION
Discuss and consider entering into Joint Election Agreements with the following political jurisdictions for the upcoming November 6, 2012 Election:
  1. City of Corpus Christi
  2. Del Mar College
  3. Corpus Christi Independent School District
  4. Flour Bluff Independent School District
  5. West Oso Independent School District
  6. London Independent School District
  7. Tuloso-Midway Independent School District
  8. Robstown Independent School District
  9. Robstown Drainage District No.2
  10. Banquete Independent School District
  11. South Texas Water Authority
BACKGROUND
Nueces County will be conducting a General Election for Federal, State and County offices on November 6, 2012. Other political jurisdiction have also ordered elections to held on the same date and are requesting to hold their elections jointly with Nueces County. They are as follows:
  1. City of Corpus Christi
  2. Del Mar College
  3. Corpus Christi Independent School District
  4. Flour Bluff Independent School District
  5. West Oso Independent School District
  6. London Independent School District
  7. Tuloso-Midway Independent School District
  8. Robstown Independent School District
  9. Robstown Drainage District #2
  10. Banquete Independent School District
  11. South Texas Water Authority
Costs of the election will be prorated based on the number of shared precincts within each of the jurisdictions.
