RECOMMENDATION
Discuss and consider the approval of Change Order No. 8 with TBC Commercial Construction to increase the contract amount relating to the Padre Balli Park Improvements, Phase 1 Project.
BACKGROUND
On February 24, 2016, Nueces County entered into a contract with TBC Commercial Construction LLC for the Padre Balli Park Improvements, Phase 1 Project (IFB NO. 3004-15)
DISCUSSION
Change Order No. 8 compensates the contractor, $17,986.68 for additional insurance costs due to delays encountered and the increase in contract time during the construction of this project.  Additional time (Change Order 7) was previously approved in court.
