RECOMMENDATION
Discuss and consider the approval of Construction Contract Change Order No. 1 with Infinity Operations and Installations (Contract #20170122) for The Ranch Colonia project.
BACKGROUND
On April 12, 2017, the Commissioners Court entered into a contract with Infinity Operations and Installations for IFB No. 3035-17 TDA Contract No. 7215115 Surface Water Lines and Connections Construction in the Ranch Colonia.
DISCUSSION
This change order adds three (3) additional water connections and work associated with those additional connections. As construction began, the County was contacted by several residents who are interested in becoming beneficiaries to the project. The households have been surveyed and are classified as low-to-moderate income residents.

The change order adds $9,685.20 to the existing contract of $ $196,608.30 for a total contract cost of $206,293.50. The additional cost will be covered by a grant awarded for this project, Texas Department of Agriculture Contract #7215115, County Department # 2794. With this change order, there is still $217,039.50 in unobligated funds available.
