RECOMMENDATION
Discuss and consider the approval of Change Order No. 2 with Largin Construction Services. LLC, to increase the contract amount and additional days needed to complete the project relating to the Bishop County Building Renovation (Old fire station section).
BACKGROUND
On March 21, 2017, Nueces County entered into an agreement with Largin Construction Services for renovations to the existing Bishop Fire Station in the amount of $238,500. On July 13, 2017, the court approval change order no 1 in the amount of $2,700.
DISCUSSION
Change Order No 2 compensates the contractor an additional $5,360.00 for electrical and raceway requirements for data provider including a more durable floor finish. Total adjusted contract amount $246,560.00. In addition, due to this change order additional days will be needed to complete the project.
