RECOMMENDATION
Discuss and consider the approval of Change Order No. 1 with Largin Construction Services, LLC, to increase the contract amount relating to the Bishop County Building Renovation Project (Old fire station section).
BACKGROUND
On March 21, 2017, Nueces County entered into an agreement with Largin Construction Services, LLC, for renovations to the existing Bishop Fire Station.
DISCUSSION
Change Order No. 1 compensates the contractor $2,700.00 for placing a metal frame stud and cover with gypsum board the existing plaster walls which were not suitable to receive new paint and inhibited the ability to add future electrical and or data devices.
