Discuss and award IFB 3029-16 sale of .593 Acres of Held Industrial Tract; authorize the County Judge to execute the easement agreement.
BACKGROUND
The easement for sale consists of .593 acre tract of land of Lots 1 and 2, Section 56 of the Flour Bluff and Encinal Farm and Garden Tracts. This land is contained in out of an 88.83 acre tract out of Held Industrial Tract, a subdivision of record in volume 33 page 37, map records of Nueces County, Texas, said 88.83 acre tract described in deed to Nueces County, recorded in Document no. 1997024016, official records of Nueces County, Texas; save and except 6.5 acres in Document 2014048644, Official Public Records, Nueces County Texas; 3.0 acres in Document 1996001707, Official Public Records, Nueces County, Texas; 0.089 acres and 0.297 acres in Volume 2146, Page 667, Deed Records, Nueces County, Texas; 0.77 acres in Volume 263, Page 337, Deed Records, Nueces County, Texas; said .593 acre being more particularly described on EXHIBIT “A” hereto attached, and said land to be used for utility type companies and related uses only, and for no other purpose. The minimum bid amount for the easement of the .593 acres of Held Industrial Tract property is $11,900.00. The County has the right to reject any and all bids submitted.
