RECOMMENDATION
Authorize an order ratifying hiring of Property Info Corporation for Historical Book Scanning Project services.
BACKGROUND
The project involves the scanning and indexing of Nueces County Clerk's historical document record book pages from 1962 to 1982.

Nueces County entered into an agreement with Property Info on April 25, 2012 for certain scanning and indexing services. The original agreement expired prior to completion of the scanning and indexing project. Subsequent to the expiration of this agreement Property Info continued to work on completion of the project as provided for in the agreement with knowledge and consent of the County Clerk’s office. Property Info has invoiced for final payment of their services for the completion of the project done after the expiration of agreement. The order ratifies the hiring of Property Info for the services rendered since the expiration of the Original Agreement. After ratifying, the Commissioners Court may pay Property Info for the services performed.

DISCUSSION
The final payment amount of $221,457.14 is to be paid from the County Clerk Records Archive Fee Special Revenue Fund - Dept 0139.
