Execution of a Grant Adjustment Notice the Texas Department of Public Safety for the Citizens Corps Program grant

Discuss and consider execution of a Grant Adjustment Notice with the Texas Department of Public Safety for the Citizens Corps Program grant.
The Department of Homeland Security under the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) offers several grant opportunities under the umbrella of the Homeland Security Grant Program. One such opportunity is the Citizens Corps Program (CCP). The Citizen Corps mission is to bring community and government leaders together to coordinate community involvement in emergency preparedness, planning, mitigation, response and recovery.
On November 17, 2010, the Commissioners Court approved the execution of a Sub-recipient Agreement and Terms and Conditions to acknowledge acceptance of a grant award for the Citizens Corps Program in the amount of $6,797.98.
The original grant period was to run from August 1, 2010 through July 31, 2012. This Grant Adjustment Notice extends the contract period by 60 days to September 30, 2012.
There is no fiscal impact related to this item. The grant amount remains at $6,797.98 with no cash match.
