Intergraph Jail Interface Development for the Case Management System
Mike Biddle, Information Technology
Discuss and consider approval of Sole Source Purchase of the Intergraph Scope of Work (SOW) for the development of the i/LEADS jail interface with the Odyssey Case Management System.
The Nueces County jail utilizes the i/LEADS Jail Management System (JMS), and the Odyssey Case Management System is used by the District Courts, County Courts, District Clerk, and District Attorney for managing criminal cases. The two systems need to share certain data elements by exchanging transactions. The JMS needs to provide information to the CMS such as charges, bonds, and warrant status. The CMS needs to provide information to the JMS such as indictments on charges, disposition of charges, and sentences for offenders.
The Statement of Work developed by Intergraph provides the framework for the development of the interface for exchanging data between the CMS and JMS. A separate agreement has already been approved with Tyler Technologies to develop their portion of the interface.
The interfaces will be developed in modules including the following:
1. Booking Exchange
2. Case Filing Exchange
3. Charge Update Exchange
4. Disposition Exchange
5. Re-arrest Scenarios
6. Release Exchange
7. Warrant Exchange
