Discuss and consider approval of the Tyler Technologies License Agreement and Professional Services Agreement for development of the jail interface for the Odyssey Case Management System.
The Nueces County Jail utilizes the i/LEADS Jail Management System (JMS), and the District Courts, County Courts, District Clerk, and District Attorney will be using the Odyssey Case Management System (CMS) for managing criminal cases. The two systems need to share certain data elements. The JMS needs to provide information to the CMS such as charges, bonds, and warrant status. The CMS needs to provide information regarding the indictments on charges, disposition of charges, and sentences for offenders.
The License Agreement and Professional Services Agreement with Tyler Technologies is for the purpose of developing the portion of the interface that is responsible for providing prosecutor and court information to the Intergraph Jail Management System. In a separate project, Intergraph will be responsible for developing programs that will provide jail information to the Odyssey Case Management System. The fiscal impact of this jail interface is $148,540, with annual maintenance and support fees of $16,500.
The Interface will be developed in modules including the following:
1. Booking Exchange
2. Case Filing Exchange
3. Charge Update Exchange
4. Disposition Exchange
5. Re-arrest Scenarios
6. Release Exchange
7. Warrant Exchange
